This is the only real book on the subject out there Jan 09, 2010

This is a serious guide to investing in oil and gas properties with real world examples. The author really knows the subject and presents it in a clear no nonsense fashion. I would like to have seen more detail on shutin costs and the data is slightly dated but the formulas are there and can be adjusted for todays prices.
This is the only real book on the subject out there.
If an update came out I would buy it.

Luckily I did not pay this book. It was in my company's library. I'm sorry for the time I lost reading it. Maybe the acquisition of Petroleum Property is REALLY different in Latin America, but there was no useful information or ideas in this book.
