5A Thick, Single-Volume Reference Book Packed with Information  Mar 27, 2009 By Jan Peczkis "Scholar and Thinker"
This review is based on the 1968 edition. Each chapter is written by a separate specialist. There is a wealth of data on such things as masonry construction, timber engineering, steel construction, soil mechanics, frame analysis, shell structures, long-span roofs, properties of steels, barrel vaults, bridge design, rigid joints, wind deflection of structures, design of towers, and much more.

5"The Book"  Nov 02, 2006 By E. Valdez "Longhorn"
The "Bible" for structural engineers for decades past and present. Updated and a "must have" for the structural design engineer. The place to start when a new problem is encountered.

5Excelent, reference  Aug 17, 2011 By Arnoldo
It's a complete book, it has a introduction about structural analysis (indeterminate methods, very useful), also it has a chapter about retaining structures and foundations, reinforced concrete silos (reference DIN 1055 and ACI 313) and another topics buried conduits. Excelent reference of civil engineering.

2damaged book  Jan 22, 2011 By JJT
The book was damaged. The pages were bent and the binding was broken. Definitely not "new" condition. I needed the book and did not have time to return (or did I know how). It was shipped in a padded envelope vs a box. I e-mailed the seller with no response.
