Low content level - mostly fluff Oct 11, 2010
By BMEGradStudent The book is just about all fluff - barely any technical meat and lots of hand waiving - don't plan on picking up much beyond some names of types of biomedical instrumentation - your better off reading app notes from medical instrumentation manufacturers - which cover fundamental physics, bio-instrumentation concepts and detailed circuit analysis - which are free or else Webster's other book is a little better - Medical Instrumentation Application and Design. I picked it up used for ~$20 so I shouldn't have been surprised - but I am thankful I didn't spend what a new copy costs.
Bioinstrumentation Oct 01, 2009
By Wulfgang A good and straight forward book, though not heavily used by the class I got it for, as it was too elementary in some of the explanations.
